ALTIVIA Acquires controlGen, Inc.
Houston, TX – April 1, 2005 – ALTIVIA
Corporation today announced that it has signed a definitive
agreement to acquire controlGen, Inc. This acquisition includes
the client base, all assets and all related intellectual property
including intellectual property covering the use of wireless
technology for monitoring and controlling remote assets. Jack
Lavender, President and Trevor Kemp, Chief Technology Officer
will join ALTIVIA.
In making the announcement, J. Michael Jusbasche, Chief Executive
of ALTIVIA, indicated, "We evaluated several companies in the
telemetry space to complement our technology and customer
requirements and elected controlGen due to the flexibility
and scalability of their solution. ALTIVIA will place the
electronic management of all of its installed A-TRACKS telemetry
units in controlGen’s device management environment"
controlGen, Inc. will continue to operate under its name as
a division of ALTIVIA and will maintain its offices in Wayne,
Pennsylvania and Saunderstown, Rhode Island. Jack Lavender,
current President of controlGen, will become General Manager
of ALTIVIA’s Telemetry Division.
