TicketLeap VP Direct Sales (Philadelphia Based)

TicketLeap, the leader in online ticketing and social media for events, seeks an energetic and motivated professional to join our team as Vice President of Direct Sales. One of the fastest growing companies and 'Best Places to Work' in Philadelphia, TicketLeap is located in Center City.

The Vice President of Direct Sales is a high-level management position that is tasked with growing our young inside sales team into a robust call center environment serving North America and select global clients. The VP of Direct Sales has complete ownership of the entire sales process, from lead generation to cold sales to client management. The VP is responsible for developing an efficient framework to allocate personnel to service each step of the sales cycle, as well as grow the current staff to build a world-class team once these frameworks are in place. Sales will focus on a number of markets, including Theaters, Festivals and Expos, Non-profits, Universities, High Schools, Sports, Museums and Attractions, etc. This position reports directly to the CEO, and if successful, the Vice President can expect to receive significant equity options in a successful, early-stage, venture-backed company.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology.
  • Design, implement and manage the sales team to meet and exceed both monthly and annual sales objectives in coordination with the company's business plan.
  • Provide strategic direction and determine appropriate arrangement of staff to meet objectives.
  • Establish and implement departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Be the driving force in the development of the work ethic, culture and values of the sales group.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, motivate and evaluate department staff to achieve maximum results.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive prospecting and lead generation plan for the sales team based on the company’s product/service set.
  • Work with other company departments to ensure effective and efficient customer support.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in sales, including account management and lead generation, in a call-center environment.
  • Solid recent experience building and managing call center sales teams to meet and exceed sales targets, preferably from the ground floor up.
  • Strong background in using Salesforce.com or another a sales CRM.
  • Demonstrated success in improving and implementing processes.
  • Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals, revenue expectations, and performance evaluation
  • Employee management experience including; performance management, managing continuous improvement, coaching, personal development.
  • Excellent organization, communication and presentation skills.
  • A start-up mentality, hands-on management style, and a sense of urgency.
  • MBA preferred, but not required.

Compensation

  • $100k+ commission based on experience (on-target compensation of $200k)

Magnify Networks - Senior Account Executive(s) (NYC Based)

Magnify.net is a fast growing venture backed Internet Company located in New York City. We specialize in helping customers incorporate curated video into their websites. We've developed an innovative, highly differentiated product that embraced created, collected, and contributed content – lowering cost per content item and increasing ROI. We have a sizeable installed base and excellent reference customers we can leverage as we grow our business. We’re looking to add senior/mid-level account executives to our sales team that over the last several years has achieved over 200% avg. annual growth. While some travel is required, much of the sales is done in NYC and via Webex. The candidate is required to work from the Magnify’s NYC offices located near Penn Station.

 

The Positions:


Planning: Responsible for:

-              Creating annual and monthly individual sales objectives in coordination with the Company's business plans and goals.

-              Meeting and exceeding mutually agreed upon sales quotas.

-              Working with the others on Senior Mgmt Team to establish market and target customer strategies for the Company.

 

Execution: Responsible for:

-      setting and meeting the sales objectives that are aligned with the company's overall business strategies

-      developing a strong sales pipeline and plan for the generation of new opportunities with a focus in the video/media industries

-      enhancing the sales methodology and processes around existing opportunities in the sales funnel.

-      market research, developing proposals, conducting customer demos.

-      Maintaining and building customer relationships.

 

 

Skills:

-         Proven sales track record, preferably in either the video internet industry or in Saas solutions sales environment

-              Has developed and executed tactical sales plans including quotas and account objectives.

-              Highly computer literate and comfortable using sales database tracking programs.

-              Driven, smart, articulate, competitive, well organized and loves to be part of a fast paced environment.

-              Strong negotiating skills and closing capacity.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

-              Team player

 

Experience:

-              Ideal experience with direct sales in a small but growing organization and preferably within a venture backed startup.

-              You have 3-7+ years experience selling enterprise with full life-cycle sales experience.

-              Driven to source and close deals.
